We're excited to announce the addition of psych-garage rockers New Candys to the North Star Media roster!
New Candys formed in Venice, Italy, in 2008 with Fernando Nuti on vocals, guitar and sitar, Diego Menegaldo on guitar and vocals, Stefano Bidoggia on bass and Dario Lucchesi on drums. The band has been influenced by 60's Psychedelic Rock, especially The Velvet Underground and Syd Barrett (Official), as well as contemporary artists like The Brian Jonestown Massacre, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club (Official Page) and The Black Lips. Their latest album, 'New Candys As Medicine' was mixed by John Willis from The Servants and Loop. The album has received critical acclaim and praises from members of legendary Brit Indie bands Primal Scream and The Telescopes.
